Alumni And Friends Enjoy Opening Night Tailgate
More than 1,300 alumni and friends turned out for the first Association tailgate of the 2010 Saluki football season, as Southern opened new Saluki Stadium in front of a sold-out crowd and won the game 70-7 over Quincy University. For photos of the event, click here.

Super Student Honors Presented
The Southern Illinois University Alumni Association and Student Alumni Council on the Carbondale campus recently presented Distinguished Senior Awards to 25 outstanding SIU students at an annual spring “Super Student Honors Dinner” at the SIU Student Center.
