Give ‘Good Night From Carbondale’ For Christmas

 “Good Night from Carbondale,” the CD audio book chronicling some of the best moments from the past 30 years of SIU football and basketball through the broadcasts of  the “Voice of the Salukis,” Mike Reis ’78, is still available and would make a unique Christmas gift for any Saluki fan. The disc – featuring narration from former WCIL radio personality John Riley ’87 – retails for just $12 (plus shipping) and is available through the SIU Alumni Association’s Web site at siualumni.com/goodnight, by visiting the Association’s campus offices in Colyer Hall and the SIU Student Center, or by calling 618-453-2408. 

A portion of the proceeds will fund the new “Mike Reis Scholarships” to be awarded in 2010 to select members of the SIU Dawg Pound (the vocal Saluki student fan base).
