By popular demand, we have scheduled a Saluki gathering to cruise Lake Minnetonka!
Who: Saluki Alumni, Families and Friends
What: A boat ride on the historic Steamboat Minnehaha followed by dinner at Jake's.
When: August 15, 2010 - Gather at the dock at 3:30 PM
Where: The boat leaves Excelsior Dock, Excelsior, MN at 4:10 PM; Jake O'Connor's Public House is at 200 Water Street, Excelsior, MN 55331 just up the hill from the Excelsior Dock.
Action Requested: Buy your ticket(s) online for the cruise at http://www.steamboatminnehaha.org/ under the Tickets tab.
Details: The plan is for Saluki families and friends to gather at the Excelsior dock at 3:30 PM and board the historic Steamboat Minnehaha for the 4:10 PM one hour cruise of Lafayette Bay. After the cruise we will enjoy dinner at Jake O'Connor's Public House just up the hill from the boat launch at 200 Water Street, Excelsior, MN 55331 (www.jakeoconnors.com).
You can choose to do the cruise, dinner, or both. Click http://www.steamboatminnehaha.org/ to check out the history of the boat, and then click on the tab Tickets to purchase your tickets. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for kids and may be available on the day of the event, but they cannot predict demand in advance.
