The Student Alumni Council (SAC) is a registered student organization open to all undergraduate and graduate students at SIU.  It is the student branch of the SIU Alumni Association.  SAC initiates and administers programs to promote the university to students, alumni, the community, and the world.  Through cooperative efforts with the Association and the University, SAC helps to promote the excellence of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, while also providing positive educational opportunities and a wide variety of social events.  SAC is looking for individuals who are interested in participating in rewarding experiences, while meeting new people and having fun..
