Dinner with 12 Salukis is a program bringing current SIU students together with alumni to network and learn from alum(s) about their profession and the role SIU played in helping them get to where they are today.

Dates and Registration

Dinners dates for 2025 are Friday, February 28 and Saturday, March 1.

Dinner can be held in the homes of alumni, at a local restaurant, or some other creative location of their choice. However, participation is currently limited to the Carbondale area to minimize transportation challenges.

Please note the alumni hosts cover all meals and related costs.

  • Student Registration

    Students will be able to register for a dinner beginning in January 2025. Please ensure you can commit to the dinner dates before signing up.

  • Hosts Registration

    Host registration for 2025 is now open. Apply by Friday, December 6, 2024. Hosts are asked to cover the cost of your group's meal. You may also co-host a dinner with another alumna/alumnus and split the costs.
