Dinner with 12 Salukis is a program bringing current SIU students together with alumni to network and learn from alum(s) about their profession and the role SIU played in helping them get to where they are today.

Dates and Registration

Dinner dates for 2026 are Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28.

Dinner can be held in the homes of alumni, at a local restaurant, or some other creative location of their choice. However, participation is currently limited to the Carbondale area to minimize transportation challenges.

Please note the alumni hosts cover all meals and related costs.

Hosts Registration

Host registration for 2026 is now open.
Apply by Monday, December 1, 2025.

Hosts are asked to cover the cost of your group's meal. You may also co-host a dinner with another alumna/alumnus and split the costs.

 

Student Registration

Students, check your siu.edu email January 2026, for your special invitation to register as a participant to one of the various dinners being offered.

Please ensure you can commit to the dinner dates before signing up.
